2. Scope and Subject of the GTC

These General Terms and Conditions apply to the electrical installation, maintenance, and electrical safety inspection services provided by the Service Provider, as well as to contact initiated through the website operated by the Service Provider.

The website serves exclusively informational and marketing purposes. It does not qualify as an online store and does not provide any option for online contracting or payment.

3. Legal Nature of the Prices Displayed on the Website

The prices displayed on the website are indicative only and do not constitute an offer. They do not bind the Service Provider to conclude a contract or provide services.

The service fee is determined in each case based on an individual written quotation, except in urgent repair cases, which are subject to specific rules set out in these GTC.

4. Scope of Services

The Service Provider particularly performs the following activities:

  • Electrical installation works

  • Repair and expansion of electrical networks

  • Electrical safety inspections

  • Maintenance and fault diagnostics

The list is not exhaustive; the exact content of the services is determined on a case-by-case basis following individual consultation.

5. Ordering and Contract Formation Process

The Client may contact the Service Provider by phone, email, or via the contact form on the website.

If necessary, an on-site assessment takes place.

The Service Provider provides a written quotation.

The service will only be performed after the explicit written acceptance of the quotation.

Contact, appointment scheduling, or on-site assessment alone does not constitute a contract and does not create any automatic obligation to perform work or make payment.

Given the nature of electrical services, the contract generally does not qualify as a distance contract. In cases of urgent repairs or immediate performance at the Client’s explicit request, the 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply.

5/A. Special Rules for Urgent Repairs and On-Site Troubleshooting

In the case of urgent repairs or immediate troubleshooting, the Service Provider provides an indicative fee estimate by phone before starting work. Information provided by phone does not constitute a written offer and does not bind the Service Provider to a final price.

The actual fee is determined after on-site assessment and precise identification of the fault. The Service Provider informs the Client on-site about the expected costs, and work begins only after the Client’s verbal approval.

By giving verbal approval, the Client acknowledges that work will commence immediately and that a payment obligation may arise. The commencement of work constitutes a verbal contract between the parties.

Phone consultation, appointment booking, or request for call-out alone does not constitute a contract.

6. Fees, Call-Out Fee and Payment Terms

The service fee, payment method, and deadline are determined in the individual quotation, or in urgent repair cases, based on on-site information.

The Service Provider may charge a call-out fee, the amount of which is communicated in advance on the website or during phone consultation. The call-out fee may be charged even if:

  • The fault could not be reproduced on-site,

  • The fault does not originate from the electrical network,

  • The Client withdraws from the work on-site,

  • The Service Provider cannot complete the work due to missing conditions to be provided by the Client.

The call-out fee does not qualify as a penalty or cancellation fee; it covers the costs associated with travel and on-site diagnostics.

7. Performance Deadlines

The date and deadline of performance are determined in agreement with the Client.

The Service Provider shall not be liable for delays caused by lack of cooperation by the Client, force majeure (e.g., weather conditions, network failures, supplier delays), or other unforeseeable circumstances.

8. Warranty and Liability

The Service Provider fulfills its statutory warranty obligations and performs work in accordance with professional standards.

The Service Provider is not liable for:

  • The quality of materials provided by the Client,

  • Damage resulting from improper use,

  • Indirect or consequential damages.

For installed materials, the manufacturer’s warranty applies.

The provisions of this section do not affect or limit the statutory rights of consumers.

9. Complaint Handling and Conciliation Board

The Client may submit complaints in writing via the Service Provider’s contact details. The Service Provider shall respond in writing within 30 days at the latest.

In case of a consumer dispute, the Client is entitled to contact the competent conciliation board according to their place of residence or stay.

The conciliation board competent according to the Service Provider’s registered office:

Pest County Conciliation Board
1119 Budapest, Etele út 59–61. II. floor 240.
E-mail: pmbekelteto@pmkik.hu

The Service Provider may not refuse participation in conciliation proceedings.

10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These GTC are governed by Hungarian law.

In the event of a dispute, the parties stipulate the jurisdiction of the Dabas District Court, subject to competence. In consumer disputes, the Client may also bring proceedings before the court of their place of residence.

11. Data Processing

Personal data provided during contact via the website are processed in accordance with the Service Provider’s Privacy Policy, which is available on the website.

12. Final Provisions

The Service Provider reserves the right to amend these GTC. Amendments enter into force upon publication on the website and do not affect contracts already concluded based on accepted quotations.

If you would like, I can also prepare a slightly more formal “UK legal style” or “international B2B” version, depending on how the English text will be used (website, contract attachment, foreign clients, etc.).
